Navigating Emotions

Navigating Emotions for Youths

Participants will develop emotional literacy tools that are grounded in the Six Seconds Emotional Intelligence Model; the world's first and largest organisation dedicated to the development of emotional intelligence. The NEMO programme is developed with all youths in mind, in particular, peer support leaders, youth leaders in the community and at-risk youths who may have immediate needs to build their emotional competencies in order to better reach out to others in their daily interactions.

Adjust and try again

Adjust and Try Again

Students will develop grit and tenacity while being introduced to the world of specialty coffee. Bettr's dual approach of developing industry-relevant skills while systematically teaching discipline in the art of making coffee helps our youth understand the importance of making mistakes building resilience. In essence, these applied coffee skills function as a tool to develop their perseverance to keep trying, adjusting, and trying again.
